MINI: CONTEMPORARY, HIP HOP, BALLET, JAZZ, TAP

JUNIOR: CONTEMPORARY, HIP HOP, BALLET, JAZZ, TAP

TEEN: CONTEMPORARY, COMMERCIAL HIP HOP, CONTEMPORARY BALLET, JAZZ, TAP

Please register your dancer for the correct age based on their age at the time of convention.

SCHOLARSHIP REDEMPTION

  • If you are registering independently, kindly email to destinydancecomp@gmail.com a photo of your scholarship and we will apply a code for your ticket. 

  • Please include which event you were awarded the scholarship in order for our team to validate the usage of the scholarship. 

  • Please note that the scholarship voucher will be remitted off of the regular convention ticket price. 

  • All scholarships are valid within 1 year of it being awarded.

Early Bird $195.00 + tax

Regular Pricing $215.00 + tax

September 1, 2024 thereafter

Group Bookings

Registrations take place via your studio account on Dancebug.

Independent dancers and studio registrations are welcome.


OBSERVER PASS 

Studio Owner (3 Guests)

  • Complimentary when registering your studio. 

Parent/Guardian - $25.00 + hst

  • 1 per dancer, limited quantity. 

  • On a two day event, your wristband will be valid on the second day as long as you have a child dancing.


Follow the prompts to purchase your ticket on Dancebug. Both registration and observer bands are purchased through Dancebug.

  1. Don’t forget to register your dancer in the appropriate age level. For example: Junior dancers cannot register for the Teen level. 

  2. The registration is complete once your ticket is purchased.

  3. If you wish to watch your child during the convention, you must buy an observer band to enter the ballrooms where classes are taking place. 

  4. Any questions can be emailed to destinydancecomp@gmail.com. 

  5. There are no refunds once your ticket is purchased. All sales are final.

  6. Scholarship Winners: Please email admin a photo of your scholarship to destinydancecomp@gmail.com and your credit will be applied to your Dancebug account.

Policies.

Payment/Refunds

  • No refunds/exchanges once the ticket has been purchased. 

  • Studio Payments are due as follows:

    • 1st Payment Due: September 20 (25% of final registrations)

    • 2nd Payment Due: October 20th (Final Amount Owing)

    • Scholarships will be applied to the studio account only with proper proof of the scholarship at hand. Studios or parents may send it in. There are no incentives for scholarship registrations.

Registration

  • All dancers are to be registered in their respective age category at their age at the time of convention.

  • Registration will take place via Dancebug.

  • If you are a scholarship recipient email us a photo of your scholarship in order to get your credit applied in your Dancebug account.

  • Studios may contact us for further group booking information and incentives.

  • Waivers will need to be signed before the convention for the dancer(s) to participate via Dancebug.

  • Dancers or the studio director are to sign in for the convention on the morning of at the designated call time.

Observer Passes & Scholarships

  • Scholarships are awarded based on the professional judgment of our staff. A variety of scholarships will be awarded.

  • Scholarship redemption is based on the regular ticketed price.

  • Observer passes are non-refundable.

  • For two day conventions, your pass is valid for two days if you have multiple dancers registered.

Etiquette

Parents, teachers or guests that demonstrate unprofessional behavior will be asked to leave the premises. 

  • We do not tolerate any form of harassment from both the spectators and dancers.

  • Parents observing are to be kind, supportive and respectful of the space for all children dancing. 

  • Any form of disrespectful behavior will result in the parent being asked to leave. 

  • Destiny Dance Convention is an inclusive and safe space for everyone, regardless of race, gender, religion, or background.

  • Scholarships are awarded based on the professional judgment of our staff. A variety of scholarships will be awarded.

  • Mini, Junior & Teen Excellence Awards for Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet.

  • Mini, Junior & Teen Overall Convention Dancer for Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet.
