Destiny Dance Competition is not responsible for any rules, policies or dates missed.
At a registering studio, please ensure to read all information prior to registering.

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to secure your studio’s reservation. This deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances.
In the event that Destiny Dance Competition is unable to operate a live event due to circumstances beyond its control, a rescheduled event will be offered within one (1) year of the original event date.
Early Bird pricing is available to studios who submit their deposit by November 1, 2025. All registration details and full payment are due by January 10, 2026.

Dancers unable to perform due to injury (with a valid medical note) are eligible for a refund issued to the studio, minus the $30 dancer registration fee.
All changes made after January 10, 2026 are non-refundable, including the removal of dancers from entries.
A one-time Dancer Registration Fee of $30.00 + HST per dancer applies to each event. This fee includes access to media, a dancer swag bag, virtual finals eligibility, contests, and additional event experiences.
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to HST.
We accept the following methods of payment: Credit Card, E-Transfer, and Cheque. All cheques must be made payable to Destiny Dance Company.
Invoices will be issued and are accessible through your Dancebug account.
All registration fees must be paid by the stated deadlines. Any registration or payment received after the final deadline will be subject to a late fee of 10% of the total registration amount.
Any changes made after the final schedule has been released will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee per change.
Any returned or failed payments (including NSF cheques or declined transactions) will be subject to an additional administrative fee and must be resolved immediately to maintain participation in the event.
Studios that withdraw from the competition after submitting a deposit remain responsible for any outstanding balances unless otherwise approved by Destiny Dance Competition.

Competitions may take place over 1–3 days. Destiny Dance Competition reserves the right to add or reduce event days based on registration numbers and scheduling requirements.
Studio registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis, and is secured upon receipt of the required deposit.
Studio directors are responsible for ensuring all entries are registered accurately, including age, competitive level, dance style, and number of performers. Any misrepresentation may result in reclassification, score adjustments, or disqualification at the discretion of the competition.
Studio directors are the primary point of contact. All communication regarding scheduling, payments, registration, and event-related matters will be conducted exclusively between Destiny Dance Competition and the studio director.
All dancers must have a completed liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian through Dancebug prior to participating. By attending the event, dancers and attendees also consent to being photographed and recorded for media and promotional purposes.
Destiny Dance Competition is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by dancers, teachers, choreographers, or families while attending the event, including but not limited to travel, accommodations, meals, or other personal costs.
Destiny Dance Competition reserves the right to limit, refuse, or close registration at any time once capacity has been reached.
By registering for the event, studios acknowledge and agree to all policies, rules, and regulations set forth by Destiny Dance Competition.

A preliminary schedule will be released a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the competition. A final schedule will be distributed approximately 14 days prior to the event date (or sooner).
Destiny Dance Competition will make every effort to accommodate scheduling requests; however, requests are not guaranteed.
The event schedule is subject to change. Destiny Dance Competition reserves the right to adjust the schedule, performance times, or running order at any time as necessary.
The competition may run up to one (1) hour ahead or behind schedule. Studios and families should be prepared accordingly.
Destiny Dance Competition will not issue refunds for unforeseen circumstances that may prevent a dancer from performing, including but not limited to weather conditions, travel delays, road closures, illness, or other external factors.
In the event that Destiny Dance Competition is required to cancel or postpone an event due to circumstances beyond its control, the event will be rescheduled, and no refunds will be issued.
If a performance does not take place during its scheduled time, Destiny Dance Competition will make every effort to accommodate the routine before the next adjudication; however, rescheduling is not guaranteed.
Studios are responsible for ensuring dancers are present and ready to perform according to the event schedule. Failure to be present at the scheduled time may result in the performance being forfeited.
Destiny Dance Competition is not responsible for scheduling conflicts created by a studio’s registration or availability.
We encourage all families to purchase an official event program to ensure they have the most accurate and up-to-date schedule, as minor adjustments may occur throughout the event.

We value a strong and respectful relationship with our studio directors and appreciate the cooperation of families in supporting this communication process.
Studio directors are the primary clients of Destiny Dance Competition. All communication regarding registration, scheduling, payments, results, and event-related matters will be conducted exclusively between Destiny Dance Competition and the studio director.
Parents, dancers, and spectators are encouraged to direct all questions, concerns, or inquiries to their studio director, who will communicate directly with our team if necessary.
Destiny Dance Competition will not engage in direct communication with parents or dancers regarding scores, placements, scheduling, or policies.
By participating in the event, all attendees acknowledge and respect the communication structure established by Destiny Dance Competition.
Destiny Dance Competition reserves the right to refuse or discontinue communication with any individual who does not adhere to this policy.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, behavior based on race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion, or appearance.
All dancers, studio directors, teachers, parents, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves with respect, professionalism, and sportsmanship at all times—both in person and online.
Any form of harassment, intimidation, or disruptive behavior directed toward participants, judges, staff, or other attendees may result in immediate removal from the event, disqualification, and/or restriction from future Destiny Dance Competition events.
Destiny Dance Competition celebrates diversity and is proud to create a space where all dancers feel seen, valued, and supported.
By attending or participating in the event, all individuals agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a positive and inclusive experience for everyone.

All merchandise, programs, and on-site purchases are final sale. No refunds or exchanges will be issued.
We encourage all customers to review sizing and product details prior to purchase.
Destiny Dance Competition is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items after purchase.

This is a closed event intended for registered participants and their families. All attendees must be associated with a participating dancer.
Out of respect for all performers, no photography or videography is permitted in the theatre. Official media will be provided through Dancebug.
Audience members are expected to remain respectful and supportive. Disruptive behavior, including yelling, inappropriate language, or interference with the event, will not be tolerated.

All photos and videos taken at the event are the property of Destiny Dance Competition and may be used for promotional purposes.
Official event media will be available through Dancebug. Unauthorized recording or distribution of performances is strictly prohibited.
No photo/video permitted while dancers are performing on stage.

Studios are responsible for the timely delivery, setup, and removal of all props.
Props must be safe, manageable, and suitable for quick transitions. Any prop deemed unsafe or disruptive may be restricted at the discretion of the competition.
Backstage areas must remain clean, organized, and respectful of shared space.
