Frequently Asked Questions
-
All acrobats must have the minimum skill requirement listed. We recommend submitting a skills video to our Director, Alexis, for review. This allows us to ensure your acrobat is well-suited for the program and will fully benefit from the experience.
-
We recommend waiting to register until the required skills have been achieved to ensure they can fully benefit from the experience.
-
Levels are used to help our coaching team assess each acrobat’s skill set and place them in the most appropriate training group. For example, if your child is strong in certain areas (like handstands) but still developing others (like tumbling), their level helps ensure they are grouped with the right coach and peers. All classes are structured to match each level, allowing every acrobat to train safely and effectively.
-
Acrobats are grouped by level rather than age. Acro is a skill-based discipline, and this approach ensures each dancer is training at a level that best supports their development.
-
Yes. Spotting and hands-on corrections are an essential part of safe and effective acro training. Acrobats will have access to multiple master coaches, along with a team of assistants and demonstrators, all dedicated to supporting their growth.
-
Open Gym is a supervised practice session where acrobats can continue working on their skills. Our assistants and demonstrators will be present to provide guidance, while dancers train safely using proper mats and equipment.
